Siemanko offers dance classes for children, teenagers, and adults. In addition to dance classes, we also offer strength and stretching classes. Our offer also includes organizing birthday parties, projects, workshops, and bachelorette parties. We've been operating since 2012 and are located in Galeria Metropolia in Gdańsk, level -1.

What challenges did you face when managing classes and running the studio before using Fitssey?

At first, we used excel sheets, which was very time-consuming and impractical. We had to manually register each student for classes. We couldn't generate reports, and students could only pay on-site or via bank transfer to an account number listed on our website. This often caused queues at the studio due to the high volume of payments made in person. Later, we switched to a fitness industry system, but it was not intuitive at all and constantly crashed or caused other issues. Instead of helping us and saving time, it actually created more work.

What made you decide to try our solution?
A big factor was that the previous system simply didn’t work for us. We started doing a lot of research and set up meetings with different providers. We chose Fitssey because, after comparing with other systems, it seemed very intuitive both for us as a dance studio - where the schedule often changes, and student registration is frequent - and for our clients. Another huge advantage was the KNOWLEDGE BASE, where we can find answers to almost anything. What really stood out was how open the Fitssey team was to adapting certain configurations to our needs.
How has Fitssey helped you solve your studio management challenges?
Fitssey helps us on many levels and solved many of the problems we had with our previous system. For example: quick and easy registration from both the client and reception side, clear access to different pass options, the use of a deposit for partner cards - which encouraged students to better manage their bookings and cancellations - possibility to install self-service kiosks for check-in, and simple, transparent income reports for the business.
Have you noticed any tangible benefits or changes?
We noticed the benefits of using Fitssey immediately. Thanks to its many well-functioning features, we gained more free time, which we could then invest in improving the studio and relationships with our students. One key advantage is being able to view visit and transaction history, which helps us resolve any confusion on the spot.
Have you received feedback from staff or clients about the software? If so, what kind?

All feedback has been very positive. Staff picked up the system quickly because it's very intuitive and easy to use. Clients also enjoy using it because they can do everything in one place - whether it’s paying for classes, registering, or even cancelling - without needing to visit us in person or contact us.

It’s the best system! Especially when you have lots of classes and students. It definitely helps automate different areas of the studio, and it saves time that can be spent on other important aspects of business development.
